Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field. CAMH is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization Collaborating Centre.

CADDRA:

CADDRA – Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance is a non-profit member-driven association.

  • Welcomes clinicians treating individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and their families
  • Promotes best practices in research, assessment and treatment of people with ADHD.
  • Provides training and support to professionals working in the field of ADHD.
  • Developed and updates the Canadian ADHD Practice Guidelines on ADHD (4.1 edition, 2020).
  • Developed key multi-disciplinary clinical support tools and resources such as ADHD Treatment Education and Assessment Tool (ADHD TrEAT) and ADHDLearn.
  • Provides training and support to health professionals about ADHD.

CH.A.D.D.

Children and Adults with A.D.D. (CH.A.D.D.) Canada is a non-profit, parent-run organization that aims to help support, educate and ultimately better the lives of individuals with ADHD and those who care for them. CH.A.D.D. has chapters in communities across the country. The organization also sponsors workshops, presentations and conferences on the latest breakthroughs and techniques involved in dealing with ADHD.
